Abstract: From the same beds in the east of Tongxin County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, where the large Kubanochoerous had been found (Qiu et al., 1988), some Bunolistriodon jaws and teeth were recently discovered. These specimens have been assigned to B. imermedius. The new material enables us to discuss in more detail the possible relationships between the so-called intermediate "Listriodon" and lophodont listriodons.
